Hi! I'm a property practitioner for the CSi Property Group, specialising in retirement rental properties in Montana, Pretoria.
What makes you stand out in the real estate industry?
I always say I have a warm and welcoming smile and that they feel safe around me. The reason for this sense of safety is that they know I will provide the service they need and help them make the best possible choice when renting a property.
Tell us about the area you specialise in and what you love about it.
My area of speciality is Bergvallei Retirement Estate in Montana, which is a suburb in Pretoria's northeast. Montana makes a popular home for a variety of reasons. For starters, it's affordable and has homes to suit every demographic from students to retirees. For retirees, there's peace of mind in knowing that there are great hospitals nearby. The area is also close to major shopping centres and highways for convenience.
What are your secrets for helping people buy, sell or rent property?
The way I see it, building trust is the most important part of any real estate transaction. I take the time to allow people to get to know me and trust that I have their best interests at heart when I show them properties. Getting to know the client while they get to know me also gives me the inside edge on what they're looking for - and then I can show them properties that I know they will love.
What advice would you give somebody looking to buy or rent a property in the area that you specialise in?
If you're looking to buy or rent a home in a retirement estate, do so as soon as possible. The peace of mind that comes with knowing your home comes complete with security and on-site medical facilities should be a great motivator. Waiting could make you lose out on that dream home that you need for your golden years.
