Four great options for renters in Gauteng

Category Suburb News

It's no secret that there are many reasons to love Gauteng. It's not just the availability of jobs and commercial activity that draw so many people to the beating heart of South Africa. The blend of pulsating energy and tranquillity make the various parts of Gauteng sought-after homes. One of the things that people most love about Gauteng is that it has something for everyone. This ranges from urban-chic apartments to sprawling homes surrounded by trees and nature. CSI Sales, Rentals and Property Management has a wide range of rentals available across Gauteng. We are proud to introduce four of Gauteng's most loved areas: Akasia, Centurion, Midrand and Germiston.

All about Akasia

Akasia has been built on what used to be farmland in the northern suburbs of Pretoria. It earned its place on Gauteng's map in the 1970s, when families flooded into the area because of jobs at the Rosslyn Industrial Complex. The Orchards was the first of Akasia's popular suburbs to come into existence. Later, other well-loved areas such as Amandasig, Rosslyn and Theresapark followed suit.

From as little as R5 000 per month, you can rent a two-bedroom flat in various parts of Akasia, including Amandasig, Chantelle and Clarina. Flats in these areas are typically located within easy reach of Wonderpark Mall and offer security features including 24-hour guards. Kitchens in these blocks are generally state of the art, and plenty of parking is available.

Spotlight on Centurion

Centurion is close to urban lifestyle vibes, country estates, places to work and places to relax. In short, it has something for everyone. Easy reach of Pretoria, Johannesburg and Midrand adds to Centurion's appeal. For many Centurion residents, however, distances to other areas don't matter much, because Centurion is where they live, work and play.

From approximately R7 000 per month, you can rent a two-bedroom apartment in Centurion. Like the flats in Akasia, these apartments tend to offer spacious rooms, state-of-the-art security and a great way of life. CSi also has a range of homes for rent in Centurion to suit retirees.

Much ado about Midrand

Midrand got its name thanks to its location - "mid" way between Johannesburg and Pretoria. Over the last decade, many businesses have moved their operations to Midrand. Thanks to this, many who live in the area get to take advantage of short commutes.

You can rent a trendy bachelor flat - perfect for an up-and-coming corporate - in Midrand from approximately R5 500 per month. Suburbs like Vorna Valley offer two-bedroom apartments with all the bells and whistles, including 24-hour security, a pool and a clubhouse. These apartments can be rented from around R8 000 a month. Families who need a three-bedroom home will find something ideal in Midrand in the R13 000 ballpark.

The gist of Germiston

The story of Germiston began with the gold rush of the 1800s. It has since developed a strong reputation as an industrial area - and also as a great place to live. It boasts iconic architecture and a short distance to OR Tambo International Airport. The range of indoor and outdoor activities in the area add to Germiston's appeal.

It is possible to rent a secure two-bedroom flat in Germiston from about R5 500. These flats are located in sophisticated estates and offer features such as security and swimming pools. They are close to schools, shopping centres and highways. Three-bedroom flats in Germiston's popular developments are available for less than R8 000.

In a nutshell, Gauteng has a lot to offer. Each person or family must choose the area that's right for them, and CSi has properties for sale and to rent across the province. Contact us for more information about the various parts of Gauteng and everything that they have to offer.
